पहले यह Important Clarification समझें
30 September वाली deadline को NMMSS selection exam की नई registration deadline न समझें. यह NSP पर scholarship application submit करने वाले selected fresh students और eligible renewal students के लिए है.
Fresh scholarship के लिए Class IX में वही students आगे बढ़ते हैं जिन्हें State/UT द्वारा आयोजित NMMSS qualifying examination के जरिए select किया गया है.
NMMSS Scholarship क्या है?
National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme, Ministry of Education की Central Sector Scheme है. इसका उद्देश्य economically weaker sections के meritorious students को Class VIII के बाद school छोड़ने से रोकना और secondary/higher secondary education जारी रखने में मदद करना है.
हर साल Class IX के लिए 1 lakh fresh scholarships दी जाती हैं और eligible students के लिए Class X से XII तक renewal का provision है.
NMMSS Scholarship Amount 2026-27
Official scheme के अनुसार scholarship amount ₹12,000 per year per student है. Eligible scholarship DBT/PFMS mechanism से bank account में transfer की जाती है.
Eligibility
- Student economically weaker section से होना चाहिए.
- Parental income from all sources generally ₹3.5 lakh per annum से अधिक नहीं होनी चाहिए.
- Selection test के लिए Class VII में minimum 55% marks/equivalent grade required है; SC/ST students के लिए 5% relaxation applicable है.
- Scheme State Government, Government-aided और local body schools के eligible students के लिए है.
- Fresh applicant को State/UT NMMSS selection process में selected होना जरूरी है.
Fresh और Renewal Application में Difference
Fresh application Class IX में नए selected student के लिए होता है. Renewal application उन existing scholarship students के लिए होता है जो अगले eligible class में continuation conditions पूरी करते हैं.
NSP पर Apply कैसे करें?
- National Scholarship Portal खोलें.
- Academic Year 2026-27 select करें.
- One Time Registration (OTR) requirements complete करें.
- Login करके NMMSS scheme चुनें.
- Personal, school, academic और bank-related details carefully fill करें.
- Required documents upload करें.
- Application submit करने से पहले preview/check करें.
- Final submission receipt/application ID सुरक्षित रखें.
Verification क्यों Important है?
Student द्वारा form submit करने के बाद application verification process से गुजरती है. Institute Nodal Officer level और District Nodal Officer level verification complete होना जरूरी है. केवल form submit कर देना final scholarship sanction की guarantee नहीं है.
